Liz signed with legendary Brit Pop label Food in 1999, releasing her debut album “Heavy High” followed by “Roaming” both to critical acclaim. But the studio was her spiritual home and so she turned her attention to producing and writing for other artists.
In 2009 Liz and husband Mike Spencer bought an old dairy farm in Buckinghamshire, UK, and converted it into the now legendary Lark’s Tongue Studio. Together they worked with some of the biggest artists of the teens – Rudimental, John Newman, Rizzle Kicks, Emeli Sandé among many others.
Then in 2015 Liz and Mike started Youthemic Publishing, partnering Peer Music and signing their long time collaborator Gabrielle Aplin.
